Essex rain

Organisers of village fetes might not like it.  Local farmers wanting to get the harvest in might hope it stops.

But local gardeners tell me that they love this rain.  A couple more hours of light Essex drizzle, and veggie patches might just survive August.

I shall remember that as I get soaked when out and about today!

I echo Roger, since we had a hosepipe ban it hasn't stopped raining. Anyone for rotting raspberries?
