Immigration: the quango state has failed us

Today's Telegraph tells us another 144,000 asylum seekers are to be "allowed to stay in Britain because of a backlog of claims". Apparently human rights law - also known as judicial activism - is the reason many cases end up being allowed to remain.

Another day, another example of our moribund quango State at work.

Still think our political system works?

Douglas - it is no accident. It is not administrative error. It is a deliberate policy settled at the highest level. Why do we pretend otherwise?

Despite growing unemployment, more and more are allowed here. Why?

It is a deliberate policy to destroy national identity and national cohesion. For obvious reasons. A strong, cohesive nation with a strong national identity is less likely to submit to the EUSSR.

It is deliberate.

Yes, the state has failed us! We all know the truth about the negative impact that years of having an open-door policy to migrants, both legal and illegal, has had on our country. But many politicians and others in authority are still in denial about it. And is anyone of the main political parties doing anything positive to reverse this travesty? No! They are even determined to break up the UK and have us all as part of a vast, uncaring European State. Now the British are overly tolerant despite being labelled racist for trying to voice legitimate worries and opinions. And the politicians seem to have gone back to "business as usual" following the expenses scandal, but the people will not be tolerant for very much longer, I feel. There is a frightening, angry undercurrent in this nation and it may soon burst to the surface.

But will a change of government make any difference. Based on the Tory's past record, this seems unlikely.

Final proof that immigration is run by Jehovah's Witnesses.

Peter Thomas is correct. Politicians have gone back to business as usual. Will the Tories ditch their ex editor/spin doctor? No. Will the Tories stop immigration? No. Will "radical change" come to our democratic process? No. As JFK said "those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable." The British people have had enough of being ethnically cleansed from their own homeland and if something is not done about it soon we will see if there is any truth in those words. Wake up,you sleeping fools of Westminster. There is no time to lose.

Immigration is a business for a lot of bottom feeders in the legal "profession" and a well paying sinecure for right thinking state and quango apparatchiks and their attendant drones - a true gravy train.

The risible nature of the feast of peculation is everywhere to be seen see - http://theyrejokingarentthey.blogspot.com/2009/06/piper-picks-tune-pickle.html

Surely the political classes are at fault - but also many of those who masquerades as "public servants" these days must bear a larger part of the blame.

This is a sorry mess that isn't going to end well.

"There is a frightening, angry undercurrent in this nation and it may soon burst to the surface."

This is very true. I'm not sure it's going to stay under control until next June...

I also to some extent agree with Brian, I'm very concerned that Dave will not have the courage to do half of what is needed. (Public sector cuts, quango cuts, debt repayment, immigration, Lisbon etc.) Though obviously he will make less of a hash of things than Brown.

Walking along Clacton seafront yesterday (Sat iith July) I was shocked to see at least 50% of people on the beach and promenade were of foreign originality, even had to step over eight Somali aged women sitting on the promenade, and to comment on it, I suppose I am to be labelled "racist", not what my grandfather died in the last war for I know.
